Its not easy if you arent very experienced, or its visibly a kitten... Several good pics may help.
Nay, the best way with an adult cat is to let a vet make his try. They can look at the teeths and so on...
And you should anyways visit a vet with her, for check up, vaccinations - preferably also spaying (which we do recommend wholeheartly).
