I adopted an abandoned, abused, beautiful calico 2 years ago and since she's an indoor cat, kept her from the traumatic Vet visits until now. We just found out last night (found a "Mobile Vet" to come to the house) that she's 10 years old or more (I was told about 3 when we took her home), and has a detached retina. The blood tests are in the works, but I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what it turned out to be. I doubt trauma since she doesn't go outdoors at all. Her blood pressure tested normal, so we're wondering what else it could be. I doubt hyperthyroidism because she's a little on the chubby side. Any thoughts? Thanks!!
