If I had known what to expect, it would have been different. The vet's staff dropped the ball there. Her vet said absolutely no bupe going forward due to her insane reaction. She is a calm animal and her vet can do most anything to her and she calmly allows it. I can easily pill her.
Years ago I worked at a cat vet's office and assisted with surgeries, etc. I never saw a kitty react like my Kitty. I've often seen cats react violently after surgery, some of mine included.
Thank you for your reply. I agree, bupe can be just what the kitty needs without having a pill in a sore mouth!

Hi Kesta - did your cat recover? My cat received the same drug and is walking super weird. I'm freaking out.

I did - she said to monitor and see if it gets better/worse. My cat had the oral bupe in the past and didn't have this reaction. I really hope he gets it out of his system and gets back to normal.
