Ive had my lovely Yukine for almost a year now, and he’s always looked a little different than my other boys. While I know he’s no purebreed, he has some striking features. He has lanky limbs, large ears and a rather ‘pointy’ face. Also his coat— mostly white with minimal gray (mostly on his tail).

I’m definitely curious if anyone could tell me what breed they think could be attributable to his looks!

Ultimately he would be considered a Domestic Short Hair but, if I had to guess I would say he may have some Oriental/Asian breed in him. abyeb abyeb may have a little more insight on that. He's a handsome boy none the less! Welcome to TCS!

Yukine is adorable! His breed would be Domestic Shorthair, as Sabian mentioned. I would describe his coloring as blue van. I can definitely see how there’s some resemblance between him and an Oriental, but I think we’ll have to wait a little while longer, to see if he is still lean with big ears and long legs an an adult cat. If you really want to know for sure, you could get him DNA tested.
