Billy is now 16 months old and gaining weight, although still slowly. He is still mostly like before, but now it's not so funny when he and Pantera go running and jumping around and knocking everything up to and including chairs and tables over and leaving bleeding scratches on our legs due to treating us like speedbumps in their 4am chases through the apartment :blackcat2::bicolorcat:

(While Billy is gaining weight slowly, he is definitely growing, getting much stronger, and eating more- He is going through almost exactly double what he was eating just two months ago, and that was already as much as Pantera's and Pimenta's consumption combined)

I know that 4am feeling mine use me as a spring board.

Kilala will be going into a temporary foster home while my boyfriend and I find a cheaper (ha) place to live. The people at the agency said she was very well behaved for her medical and behavioral evaluation. One of the best they have seen. Lizzy and Freya are with my parents and Tony Stark is my ESA so I'm keeping him with us.

I posted in another topic a short (ahem) update on events here. What's important is that now that we're back to just Billy and his two sisters (Pantera and Pimenta) his behaviour has reverted back to playful, extremely energetic kitten. All the aggression is gone now that the external stimulus is gone (in Billy at least; Pantera is still sore about it and takes it out on Billy). In the first photo his "dueling scar" from Zeca is still present.

You didn't miss anything, I mentioned him in another post. I'm going to post specifically about him; short form: he's the old tom living in front of our bulding, defending the turf. He got a gruesome injury and we kept him in the apartment while he recovered. It took six weeks, but he made a full recovery; during that month and a half Billy was especially annoying, full of hormones and wanting to prove himself. But fortunately it's over and things are normalizing

*edit* here's the link to a longer version: Been away for too long, meet the new Kid: Billy

Awwwww Billy, your adorable glad thing's are getting back to normal for you and your sisters. And glad Zeca got the help he needed. Hopefully Pantera will get back to herself soon and peace will happen again.

Lol, I hope so, but I'm not optimistic. He's still Bonzai Billy , with far more courage than common sense. And Pantera's natural state is bullying and beating up others. Billy got his clock cleaned repeatedly by both Zeca and Pantera- contrast Zeca's quick and skillful dismantling of an obnoxious opponent versus Pantera's brutal assault- but Billy never takes it personally and always goes back for more
