She’s giving birth right now! 3 kittens! They’re all alive however one is drastically smaller than the others :( I don’t know if he will make it

We have 5 now! I believe she has a few more but I’m not really sure.

I still feel lumps in her stomach... she isn’t breathing very hard now. Do you think it’s possible that more are in there?

Not yet. I was going to give them a little bit to feed on mama.

I know that I can feel a few more lumps. And I know that there is one definate runt...he’s very small so I’m not sure if he will make it. He is latched on mom right now.

Should I weigh them all now?

You can weigh them after they feed. If the runt is latched, it’s a good sign that he’s feisty!

I hope so! He is latched on there well. Praying he makes it through. It seems like she has 1-3 more kittens in there. She is calm now, but I will be checking in on her periodically

Six! Be prepared for runts and supplementing. If she has more you may need to rotate the kittens in 2 groups for nursing time.

I hope she is done. Cats look lumpy after giving birth until the uterus shrinks back to normal.

So far no more babies :woo:.
She is honestly the best mom ever. She looks over all of them and gives them amazing care. I’ve only had to step in a few times to make sure they weren’t being squished because they’re obsessed with her.(as expected lol).
She truly cares more about him then herself and is very watchful but let’s me handle them with gloves or a blanket if needed. They haven’t stopped eating yet so I haven’t gotten to record weights. Lol.
