Could My Cat Have Some Bengal In Him?

He is obsessed with water, great with kids and dogs, very active and athletic, and his pattern and eyes do look somewhat bengal/tabby mix. The only part that doesn’t fit is Hairy black ear tips which is usually Maine coon, but my cat is small only 10 pounds and small paws.

He is a classic tabby. Very nice in his coloring and fashion, but still a domestic shorthair.
No near ancestry visible of any a bengal.

Even if he could theoretically have some ancestry of marbled bengal, but if so, faar backwards. Dont count on this.

Nothing peculiar with it, domestics are the great majority of all cats, purebreds and recent descendants perhaps 5%, not more.

Domestic shorthair Tabby. He is super handsome. Traits like that, or behavior really mean nothing because cats are so different depending on how they are raised and their environment. Lots of cats have black ear tips, lots of cats with tabby coat colors have spots on their bellies, many cats even like water. It really has not a lot to do with their breed.
