Costco brand Miralax?

I’ve been giving Simon roughly 1/8 tsp of miralax once per day to keep him regular (he had some issues with constipation early on, everytime we try to ween him off, it comes back), but we ran out of the name brand. However, we have some leftover Costco brand (I think theirs is called LaxaClear) from a cancelled colonoscopy for the human members of the household.

would to be safe to just start using the Costco generic?

Generic is fine as long as the only ingredient is Polyethylene glycol 3350. Just make sure the product isn't expired.

I always SAY Miralax in discussions here, but I never actually use the name brand. I always use a generic. But, I do make sure it's as LTS3 stated. All the generics I've ever used ended in the word "lax", although I never checked the Costco brand.

You can buy the generic most anywhere, Kroger, Walmart, etc.
