Apparently one of the big draws to bring in season football ticket holders was "no masks required!". So we'll see how that works out, first game is next week.
Superspreader event waiting to happen sounds like.Apparently one of the big draws to bring in season football ticket holders was "no masks required!". So we'll see how that works out, first game is next week.
I have heard that whichever you got the first time you should get for the booster. In my case that would be pfizer. I had my first in February, so if I have to wait 8 months that would be October I guess. There's still some discussion about how many months to wait. I also heard somewhere that it's okay to get flu shot and vaccine at the same time. I don't remember where I heard that, but I'd always heard to wait some time before getting another vaccine after you've gotten one. I got email from Walgreens that they're already offering the booster to immunocompromised. Will probably get a flu shot next month.Yeah it sounds like they're going to recommend boosters at 8 months for everybody. That would be the end of December for me. I'll probably get my flu shot in September so that's enough time in between that I feel comfortable with it.
I wonder if there's any value in switching it up and getting Moderna this time around?
I don't know how I feel about getting a 3rd shot when most people in the world can't even get one but if I refuse it won't help them get one so I guess I might as well :/.
I know we are where I live. There was even a mask burning event in the next County over when the mandate was lifted a few months ago.My educated guess is that most people will be thrilled they aren't required to mask - just based on attitudes around here.
Yes, definitely a superspreader event - also with college kids back and the bars full, I don't see this going well.
You will need to ask your doctor or pharmacist. Certain vaccines are okay together others aren't. In June I got the Shingles and Pneumonia shot together, she said I could get my second Shingles shot with my flu shot.I have heard that whichever you got the first time you should get for the booster. We've been planning to go to a Michigan game, and have ordered the KN95 masks, I believe. Something better than just the thin paper masks. I told my husband I don't care if we stick out.Apparently one of the big draws to bring in season football ticket holders was "no masks required!". Last night, on the local news, they asked their associated doctor the same question. She said to wait at least 2 weeks between the booster and the flu shot.....You will need to ask your doctor or pharmacist. Certain vaccines are okay together others aren't. I think they told my father two weeksI get allergy shots and at one point they were telling people not to get the allergy shots within a certain timeframe of getting a Covid vaccine.
