Cold feet?

Don't know if this is the right forum.
Move it if so...
I have noticed Sukis' feet pads are cold.
We have a heating pad set up in a wooden box lined with towels, a heating pad on low. under a soft bathroom rug. Suki likes to need the rug with her paws
I think I have figured out why she doesn't like me holding her with my cold hands.
Are cold paws normal? We have wall to wall carpeting too.

How old is Suki?
Elder cats may have cold feet due to blood circulation issues.

My cat's paws are cold on the bottom and have been the whole time I've had her. Not cold cold, but colder than you'd expect from a fellow mammal. Nothing has ever been wrong with her and she gets vet checked per recommendation. So you might just find after you have her checked that it's kind of normal.
