Yesterday morning I had my usual dark roast black, then an espresso at lunch and latte w/oat milk and cinnamon on top later in the afternoon. The coffee shop was packed with students studying for finals so we shared a table with two friendly women.

Thanks, neely ! This is her monthly Solensia shot, and her quick check on her heart murmur. She's feeling spunky today after the shot, and the heart murmur, while marginally worse, is still Grade 1.

Hot chocolate tonight. I'll probably be doing that until Christmas! T'IS THE SEASON!

Picked up a few packages of Coffee Caramel Nips this morning. While I generally don’t like anything coffee flavored except hot coffee, Coffee Nips are the exception. Strong coffee flavor with very little sweetness to them. I don’t seem to see them in the stores often so I stocked up. Good for an afternoon taste of coffee without the caffeine.

Brachs makes them now. I used to live a mile or so from the Pearson Candy plant in St.Paul. Some of their other candies, like Nut Goodies are still being made as well, but not sure who, and they don’t taste nearly as good.

Yep, hot chocolate again. I also have my electric fireplace turned on. It's pretty, if not real. Best I can do in an apartment, and so much better that no fireplace at all! And YES, Hek's stocking is hung!

Not coffee related but they are also offering 15% off pet care items so I added Tidy Cats to my order. Deals on litter are always welcome.

Finally !! I got my personally limited one and only Peppermint Mocha from SB!! Yes, since the price is so steep, I am limiting myself to only one this season. It is so good.. No one can make it as good as SB...

Dunkin pumpkin macchiato. Not sweet enough. I wanted cookie butter, but they didn't have any cookie syrups, despite having several on their menu board;

Cappuccino pics from yesterday. Didn't make it to Tim Hortons this morning. Didn't even make it to the driveway. I set one foot out the door and went flying off the icy step into the mud! How ironic that I hate floor/ground germs and I was laying completely on the ground. Gotta wash my coat for next Friday. Hope it's better weather!
