I got the brownie batter latte at Dunkin on Valentines Day when I took J for a doughnut date.
Thankfully, Spawn 1 sent me a machine that takes both the K-cup holder AND a single-cup basket. I am planning to order one more basket for it so that I can be making a second cup while I clean the basket from the first cup. Nice if I have company. I only use the K-cups for hot chocolate and specialty teas.Just for the heck of it I decided to calculate what I spend per pound on my Keurig coffee. A box of Keurig coffee, purchased at Sam’s, 100 pods for $45. Each pod contains .31 ounces of coffee, or 31 ounces total for the box, a hair less than 2 pounds. So I am paying roughly $23 a pound for Keurig coffee. Of course some of that is the convenience of the pod but still outrageously expensive. Plus you need to use bottled water in them.
I will be ordering an inexpensive coffee maker this week.
That sounds exciting! I'm going to Dunkin with my cousin next Thursday after we go out to lunch. I'll probably get a latte, not sure what flavors they have. Did J like her donut?I got the brownie batter latte at Dunkin on Valentines Day when I took J for a doughnut date.
She did, but the church we've been going to gives out coffee and doughnuts after Mass every week, so she's already familiar with them. That sounds exciting! Good, cause Tim Horton's only had vanilla, caramel, and mocha lattes. They had something called Vanilla Cafe, but that just might be vanilla flavored coffee. I messaged them on Facebook to ask, but they didn't respond.Dunkin has a ton of flavor options.
