I have an old comforter on one side of my sectional couch that is the cat's play zone. She gets it all balled up and then hunts her wand toys through all the nooks and crannies. It's getting really ratty-looking, not that SHE minds 
But I'm wondering if anyone's found a material, or a particular comforter/blanket, that stands up well to getting clawed, kneaded, bitten and pounced on while still providing a plush play area for her.
