Christmas Stockings!

Hey Everyone

So I have to ask, Does anyone else have a Christmas stocking for your cat? I have one for my kitty that I hang every year and fill with presents ready for Christmas Day for her.

My partner always thinks I’m insane but she’s part of the family and deserves Christmas presents too

Yes, We have Christmas stockings for all of our animals. We have 2 catmas stockings as well as 2 dogmas stockings. We have also purchased a few foster kitten stockings for our two fosters.
every year, our animals get their own bag a treats, two toys, caps(for the cats), flea treatments (for the dogs), and a new collar.
So, No you are not insane

My aunt gets on a kick of making something and twice its been stockings. The main one for Mooch though came from a member here probably 17/18 Christmases ago. None are embroidered with names but Mooch’s has a picture tag of her on it.

I don’t get her much but because at her age she doesn’t really play but my kids have been picking out things for her since they were little. Last year my mom got her an Advent Calendar from Trader Joes and she LOVED it. (I did end up cutting the treats smaller because she almost choked on one. But she gobbled those up.)

I'm a lazy pet mom. I used to have baby socks hung up for the critters, but over the past many years I've lost them and haven't continued the tradition. Maybe one day. My guys generally get special food or treats for Christmas.

Except when it comes to dog presents. My sister always gets Witner toys and goodies.

I have had stockings in the past, but now they just each get a gift bag with treats or a toy inside. My late Grandmother made tiny little stockings one year out of felt for all the pets and put their names on them in gold. I still have them. If I don't have a tree in my house, I hang those little stockings on the tree we have at work.
