They said on the news the best time to view it would 6:15 p.m. here and to look toward the southwest. I looked and looked but saw nothing, so disappointed. :frown:

We’ve seen it but no good photos. It was mostly cloudy here but the kind of cloudy where you can still see the moon through it. So we could see it even when no other stars were visible. That was pre cool to notice. Tonight was clear and it still looks like a bright star; though you can tell its 2. (We could last night too.) We spent probably half an hour watching.

Yeah, binoculars helped, you could see the two planets then. It was a clear sky on Monday, so we got a spectacular view, but not as beautiful as from South Africa! It just looked like a big star. It was really surprising how fast it set to the SW, it was high in the sky right after dark, and then an hour later it was a lot closer to the horizon. I thought I had better look since it was never in my lifetime and never will be again!
