Change after spaying?

I just got my Goofy back from the vet. Before we took her, she purred very loudly.. we called her our little V6 engine. Now, shes not loud... and well we kind of miss it. Is that normal? Also, she jumped in the window and then we took her to the vet. (She normally isn't allowed in certain windows, and she got in one of the ones off limits.) Will she associate getting in the window with pain now? I just hope her purring comes back...

She probably wont associate that one experience with going to the vet. I would not worry about the purring coming back just yet. The experience is still very fresh and she is recovering from surgery. She is probably in a little pain and is not acting like herself. Once she is all healed she will feel better and perk up.

Cats usually seem different after spaying/neutering or any other operation. Give her time and plenty of love and she should be herself again within a week or two.
