We saw the surgeon for Troopers under tongue swelling. Of course the swelling is gone, so he did not see anything. He did say that it would be unusual for salivary gland blockages to subside with antibiotics. Plan is for to see him again when and if it happens again. If it is in 6 mos. He would stay with antibiotics and not surgical intervention. Trooper is still howling at me but wants me to brush him, so I do but I was wondering about CBD oil for stress for him. I am using Rescue remedy once or twice a day, works so far. Does anyone have knowledge of or used CBD oil for cats? Please let me know. Thanks

So, it was determined there is no correlation between the enucleation and what might be going on with the under the tongue swelling? If antibiotics don't help with salivary glands, what do they think caused the issue to begin with? Why are they happy that the swelling has gone down but don't believe the antibiotics are/were the resolution? That would be my questions if Trooper were my cat.

Has Trooper's howling decreased since the swelling is gone - and is even more so reduced by you brushing him? Maybe he finds solace in your brushing him? I don't get the whole thing at this juncture, but to answer your primary question - maybe this will help:
A long time member on this site uses this CBD oil, and has on different cats for many years. They gave me links that discuss the products in general -

The outcome is…his vet felt the swelling under his tongue was blocked salivary gland it responded to antibiotics .. the surgeon felt it could have been inflammation rather than blockage since blockages do not respond to antibiotics. I also think the brushing is a calming source for Trooper, and he insists by howling at me until I move. I turned to Rescue remedy in hopes he would be calmer . Thanks for the info on CBD OIL.

I have used CBD oil in my pets. It gave one digestive upset and the other one it seemed to have no effect on. I prefer using Feliway, Comfort Zone, or Therapet diffusers in my home. I can tell when it's time to change them because my kitties' behavior changes. It works for us.

I have used Peacemaker drops from Jackson Galaxy and that helps. I add to wet food or put a few drops on dry crunchies.

Thank you. I looked at the website and it is almost identical to the Rescure remedy.
