Just want general ideas on what to look into while waiting for a call back from vet.

Two year old cat - first time noticing blood in poop. Other then the blood - this is her 'normal' color & consistency poop. Has a medicinal smell. Fecal test shows no issue.
She was treated for ringworm as a kitten. She has been pooping out of the litter box a lot lately - starts in one location and continues...

It looks more like something wrong with her bowel, maybe she was constipated, tore herself slightly and is hurting when she goes, thus the different spots. If it is further up it is most likely IBS, irritable bowel syndrome, and likely from allergies to her diet. You might change her diet to a sensitive system one, there are many, and see if that helps. if it is a tear, it will take a few days to resolve.

Oddly enough, fresh blood does usually indicate constipation, since it would NOT be fresh unless it were at the very end of the tract. But this picture doesn't look like constipation, since it looks like it's very soft. And the color is very "off".

Have a look at this thread: Yellow cat poop?

Vet prescribed Metronidazole - hopefully it does the trick. 🙏🙏
