Fee we lix had a recipe change and my cats were having diarrhoea on it so I changed their food to Sheba and Whiskas but some cats were eating it and some not, so changed to Webbox and they all liked it. But after 6-8 weeks my two cats started to suffer from diarrhoea and my one cat was hospitalised do I changed back to Sheba but as two of my cats were not eating it so tried butchers classic with them but then all my cat wanted to eat and they all developed diarrhoea. Now all have diarrhoea and some are vomting too. Boiled chicken dose t suite them anymore as my one cat who was hospitalised was mostly eating boiled chicken with some wet when she developed diarrhoea. Last two days I fed them chicken but they vomited a lot on it. My one year old kitten has this habit of biting into food pouches and recently I discovered maggots and their eggs where I store their food. My cats litter trays are there and sometimes they sleep on the carpet there. I cleaned the area but yesterday discovered maggots under their litter trays. Now I’ve closed the room and will throw away their old litter trays and food and try to clean that area. Can this sickness be linked to maggots? Today I fed Asda Tiger wet food which they used to have as kittens and was gentle on their stomach. Yes I had to change their food again as boiled chicken was making them vomit. I gave less than half a pouch and they seemed fine then one hour later I gave them some more. My mistake as my two cats seemed lethargic and took two steps and then lie down as if unable to walk. They are still having diarrhoea and boiled chicken did nothing to improve their digestion. I don’t know what to feed them as nothing seems to suit them. Continuous changes in food seem to weaken their digestion. Webbox contained inulin which is prebiotic but can irritate their digestive system with gas and diarrhoea. This all trouble started after feeding them Webbox. Dont know how to cure their digestive system. My one day was hospitalised and scan, blood test fluids did nothing to improve her condition when she came back she had sorest diarrhoea. Nothing showed on tests. I wanted to do stool test but have more than one cat and can’t provide three days stool for one cat. Please advise
