Does your cat seem to have a thing for touching exposed skin? Robin seems to always "accidentally " stretch just enough so the tips of his paws are touching my arm, legs, just anywhere there is bare skin. It's so sweet! Or maybe his paws are cold? Is this common?

When Wendel is anxious he does this. He'll try to burrow into my neck or will reach up and pull my shirt so he can lay on my bare shoulder. I've always thought it was a comfort thing for him...

I've heard that when a cat reaches out to gently touch you with its paw, it's a sign of affection. Once in a blue moon my cat will reach out and lightly tap my face. So sweet!

Jasper loved bare skin, he'd snuggle up anywhere he could find exposed skin (usually my neck/face), but Ruby's the opposite - no matter how cuddly she's feeling, she will not sit in your lap if it's not covered. No shorts, skirts, etc. Long pants only, bonus points if there's a fuzzy blanket too! (I don't know how she can tell, with all that fur between her toes!
