I'm debating whether or not to take my Spookie to the vet she's been throwing up about once a week. Today she threw up in the foyer. The vomit was totally undigested canned food with a 3 inch long 1/2 inch wide turd in it. Is this normal cat behavior? I had switched her dry food a few weeks ago to Beyond ,thinking of switching back to the Sensative Systems again. When would she require a vet visit? Her behavior seems normal at this time.

You can give Laxatone a couple of times per week which you can buy at the pet stores, on-line or from your vet. IF she continues to vomit or it becomes more frequent, then I would take her in to the vet. Rarely, but it can happen, hairballs can cause a blockage. Talk with your vet about hairball remedies too!
