Cat Vomit A Lot

I started feeding my cats fish oil to help with hair balls and because my one cat won’t eat catlax. Anyway my one cat Tom started to vomit right when he was finished eating. Liquid cat food clean up is no fun, he did this 2 days in a row didn’t vomit any other time. So I called the vet (and yes I checked with them first to know how much to give them) and I was to back off for the weekend and try on Monday. Well I tried on Monday and no problem, then Tuesday no oil today during lunch, still no fish oil he vomited right in the middle of eating. I have an appointment set up at the earliest they could get him in which is next Monday. I feel kind of helpless.

Good thing to take him to the vet at this point. The fish oil might be a coincidence to something else going on. Wishing you the best with the vet visit!!

Mingo is allergic to fish and throws it right up. He couldn't take the fish oil, either, so I'm going to try a little butter. Cats love butter anyway.

He can eat a little fish if it's mixed in with something else, but not pure tuna, salmon, or any of the other seafood varieties. Your cat may be allergic to fish, too.
