Cat v.s Blow Dryer

Yes, this is what I am concerned about. In my opinion, one of the significant improvements of the drying box is that it frees up my hands. However, if I have to constantly watch the drying box because I'm worried about my pet, then why not just use a handheld dryer to dry them myself? I'm still watching/doing the whole drying process. It's contradictory. So I need more information if I decide to use a dryer box for my cats.

First thing I would do is try using a different hair dryer. The sound of your current one might be irritating him? I would do some research on *very quiet* hair dryers... maybe after reading up on several brands, you can go to a store and test some of them out.

Yes, most are. I got into it as a kid and just never really quit. It's rewarding but a lot of work, physically and mentally!

Agreed. I've used hair dryers that were too loud and intense, where some are much quieter. Make sure the one you use has a cool setting as some of them get very hot.

I use my own hair dryer to dry them. At the begging they are stressed out and run away, until I use slow speed and hot wind mode which quiet. But I was worried that blowing them with cold wind would lead to them catching a cold.

Warm air is fine so long as you remember to keep the dryer moving and not let it sit in one spot on their skin. My Papillon dislikes the cool air but prefers warm. She's also very spoiled!
