I know this is an odd question, but is there any other condition my cat might have if her stomach is getting larger? We live in the middle of nowhere!! and have no idea how she might have come in contact with another cat. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. She has been acting like shes trying to cough up a hairball. Any thoughts?

Indoor/outdoor cats can get worms as well. It makes for a potbellied appearance. I would really take her to the vet though. Stray cats are everywhere and there may have been a tom cat lurking somewhere. I would suggest a vet visit and if she is not pregnant, get her spayed ASAP. Cats that are outdoors and whole can produce several litters of kittens a year.
