Sunday he threw up dry food 5 hours after eating. He was constipated. But ever since not wanting to eat all his food. Today skipped it completely. So tried syringing and sadly he puked it up. But there was still dry food after 7 hours. He has been on prednisolone for many years now and never had a flare where he wouldn't eat. Vet is out all week at a training conference. Any ideas on what to do?

I agree with the other posts. Definitely take him to an ER vet. I had a very similar issue with Rhett and I was told he needed to see an internist asap.

2:15 pm he was ready to eat. Meowing a little more. Ate most of his dry food. I had dh get a couple jars of beech nut chicken baby food incase he doesn't want the fancy feast later

I also suggest finding a vet. He could just have an upset tummy, but he could have something else going on like pancreatitis or IBD. It's best to get him checked out by the vet.

He does have IBD thats why he gets prednisolone every day. But this is new. He won't eat the baby food. But did eat some BFF. Sadly 2 of my other cats are experiencing symptoms. Not wanting to eat and not as active. I have to call the local vet in the morning for a ln appointment

Ugh well mitten just had diarrhea and then puked. I wonder if they have clostridium again. They had it 5 years ago and took awhile to get it to go away:( I need to get a stool sample but it was so watery. Shy guy was actually constipated

Well vet was no help. Took Oreo in she has no fever. But she thinks its just a virus. But didn't have anything she could give for nausea and vomiting. Oreo wouldn't even eat her favorite FF gems at lunch. She threw up this morning so hasn't eaten all day :( I gave her some slippery elm bark. Hoping that helps.
