My in-laws had a yellow tabby that someone abandoned as a kitten, and it found it's way to their farm. He was a Toby, also. Popular name.

I've only had Toffee and Fudge so far (I'm a first time cat mum!) though here are the names of cats that have been in my extended family over the years since I come from a line of cat lovers!

Itzmar (my great-grandfather's cat; named after his time he fought in the Battle of Gallipoli and was also my grandfather's childhood cat)
Mitzi and Tibbles (my mother and aunt's cats as children)
Lucy (my aunt's cat she had as a young adult that sadly got killed)
Simba (my aunt's current cat)
Poppy (my cousin's cat)
Toby and Leo (my second cousin's cats)

My mother's work friend also has a rather fat cat called Chunk, which I think is one of the best cat names I've heard! Another of her friends from school used to live in Hong Kong so has cats named Chuzai and ZaiZai (the Cantonese term for piglet because her tail was shaped like a piglet's tail when she got her). Her other friends cats are Charlie and Lola, Skittles and Scout and Flora.
