Yesterday I noticed that my cat was licking herself more than usual and for a longer amounts of time. She hasn't been doing it much today but still a little more than usual. I decided to check her out and her anus seems a little red which I imagine is because of the licking and something yellow that was kinda solid. I grabbed a tissue put it under warm water and wiped it off then a yellow secretion came out and it smelled pretty bad. She hasn't been licking since I wiped the crusty piece off.
Should I still schedule a vet visit? she has been eating/drinking/playing like normal since it started and doesn't act like she's in pain.
