Cat In Labor

I have a foster Nalah. She is in labor and it started around 1 pm est. it's now 9:30. I've been timing the contractions and they have been between 2-4 minutes apart. She is panting but not with the mouth open. She also growls from time to time. She ate some food about 10 minutes ago between contractions.

She hasn't had any discharge yet. She is in so much pain. I feel so useless. What can I do to help other than hanging in the closet with her? How do I know if something isn't right?

Rub her tummy if she'll let you. It may make things easier for her.

Poor gal. She should start pushing soon when the contractions are even closer.

I've. Even rubbing it and talking to her all day. Problem seems to be if I get up to go to the bathroom or get something to eat she gets up and the labor seems to get farther apart.

She just looked like she was giving a small push.

There has been times her body has jerked from pain but she won't push. This is so so hard to watch.

How close are the contractions?

Is this her first litter?

First litter and she's pushing and a gush of fluid

Good! Her water broke. She's getting there!

It could be a long night. Glad it's going so well so far!

how long can she go in between it's been an hour 15 minutes

She can go hours. You may want to bed down nearby.

It could be tomorrow. Basically whenever her body is ready again.

She's pushing now finally
