I noticed early this morning that my cat has two scratches between his shoulder blades (I’m guessing that’s what you would call it). I’m assuming he got them while playing since he was playing pretty hardcore last night. They’re scabbed over already. My question is should I just leave them alone and keep an eye on the scratches or put something on them. He doesn’t seem to be in pain. He’s letting me look at them as touch them and he’s not growling or anything. Any advice?

Totally agree with Furballsmom Furballsmom . Almost always, cats heal very quickly, and he certainly seems to be doing so! Just peek at the once in a while, and make sure all is well. Don't fret unless the area becomes red and puffy. A little redness is normal for any injury, but it should get better, not worse, with time.
