Boy, will I sleep better tonight! LOL, once I know a cat's story, in some small way, that cat is also my cat, and I am emotionally invested in that cat's wellbeing!

She is called Stellar, she has a fabric cone!

It was broken in 2 places. One bone was completely snapped in half, the other fractured with lots of bone fragments. She has a lot if metal in her leg.
Aw,poor baby- maybe she was hit by a car and someone put her in that garage? Femur,tibia? Where was it broken? Thank God she did not go into shock and your husband found her
So what did your Vet say- 12 wks?Poor sweet Stellar,it's such a dangerous world out there for cats- I'm just so glad she's home,,her leg was saved and she's recovering well
Is she eating and drinking well? She looks quite comfy,she doesn't have to be caged or confined? What meds were prescribed?Doing well on them?
We get very attached to our Cat Site family kitties

It was her fibula that completely broke in half and the tibia was fractured with bone fragments.
She was on Buprenorphine and antibiotics, but weaning her off the painkillers on vet advice.
She is doing really well and is not confined anymore. Eating and drinking normally.
I do have 4 other cats!

How are they doing with Stellars ' down time " ? I'm guessing they are a peaceful clowder just by looking at your girl relaxing, lol
Can I ask if you had pet insurance- surgery like she had is very costly.The reason I ask is because I too have 5 and was wondering about policies for multiple cats ( seems it doesn't work that way,not like human family plans) I'm not finding anything feasibly affordable so far
