please help this is very urgent

my cat gave birth recently (5 days ago or so) and i have been feeding her and making sure she's drinking water but recently she stopped producing milk and the kittens were not doing well and i kept trying to communicate to my family that something is very wrong but none of them listened until 2 of her 3 kittens starved to death. im trying to feed the surviving kitten but idk what to do (i have no kitten formula or anything im supposed to feed the kittens with, and im trying to give the kitten normal milk but i dont have a bottle or syringe)

idk what to do i cant leave the house to get anything and i'm home by myself but i dont want the kitten to starve because its already seeming to not do well and and idk when any of my family will get home and im scared. please tell me what do i do

Sadly without a syringe or bottle and kitten formula there’s not much you can do. Do you know someone who could bring you kitten formula and a bottle? They sell them at Walmart and Tractor Supply.

So sorry you’re in this position. Sadly cow milk isn’t appropriate for cats and kittens. If the mother is producing any milk maybe it can hang on until you can get supplies.

What do you have at home? goats milk is always OK to use.
Human mothermilk replacer can be used, just dilute less.... Perhaps some neibour has??

A desperate forumite used nourishing fluid for birds! Kitten managed.

RAW milk if you happen to have it at home, may be OK!

If you just have common milk, try to boil it first - should be a little easier ti digest after boiling.

I know there are emergency recipes; most do include boiling the usual cow milk, add egg yolk, some sugar or white caro syrup, a little salt

(best if you happen to have, glucose sugar / dextrose, but these are rare in USA)

If you dont have nothing at all, you can boil some sugar with water, let it cool down to hand temperature, and give the kitten.

You can use a dropper- be careful, its a little tricky... Othewise you can try and give some drops from your finger, let the kitten suckle the fluid from your finger....

As said, perhaps some friendly neigbour is home??? If you dont have a cat or dog rescuer nearby, so good tip is a mother used to organize things at home, and manage...

Sugar or honey water — give tiny drops with a dropper or spoon. The kitten is likely very dehydrated. Call a local rescue and ask if someone can bring you formula and a syringe, or even take the kitten to the rescue to save it.

Get the mother cat spayed so this NEVER happens again. I’m sorry your family is choosing not to help. jironito jironito
