Cat acne?

Hi everyone,

A pimple appeared on the lower lip of my cat 2 days ago. I wonder if it might be cat acne? Even though her brother got cat acne it does not look similar.

Has your cat already gotten a similar pimple?
If yes, what was the diagnosis given to your cat? (So that I can have an idea of the possible diagnoses)

It could be a rodent ulcer, they are easier treated but will need medication from your vet. Keep an eye on it and maybe post another photo tomorrow to see if it gets worse.

I have one, my avatar, who had a bout of chin acne and it did not look like that. As an aside, I did have to change all her dishes to stainless steel which made a big difference. The location of her acne was clearly under her chin, whereas your cat appears to have the spot on his lip.
