Has anyone heard of using carrot seed oil as a contraceptive for cats? Or has anyone tried it? I had someone recently tell me that a couple of drops in water is an effective contraceptive. If it is safe and works, this would be great to use until I can get the rest of mine trapped and neutered!

I found the attached but it does say that its efficicy is anacdotal.

I suppose that it is worth a try but don't get your hopes up; at least it is deemed safe. "Anecdotal" means that the study relied on those who did it telling the truth and on their ability to correctly assess what happened and cannot account for a cat who might have been sterile, previously fixed, lost the kittens, etc.
