Hey! I’m new here. I brought in a neighborhood cat not too long ago but I still don’t know the gender. I gave her the name Sofia (that is, if she is a her) she has her ear clipped so I know she’s already fixed + vaccinated but I just can’t tell if she’s male or female. I know most ginger cats are male but there’s still a chance she can be female. If anyone has any knowledge on this and is sure of her gender by looking at the attachment please do let me know!

(I know the picture Is invasive, she wasn’t too fond of it either but it’s better to know, lol)

It looks like a female to me. About 25% of red cats are female, 75% male, so not as rare as a lot of people think.

A vet will know, if you can get her to one. If she’s been fixed and clipped, she probably has a microchip. Otherwise, I agree the ‘O’ with a horizontal line inside looks decidedly female.

That’s a girl, can we see the other end of her as well? :)

even if ear tipped she still needs to see a vet for a basic checkup when you can.
