, I just registered on this forum. I had two precious cats who I lost a little over a year ago. They died 4 months apart. Both of them (sisters) were 16 years old and both had kidney disease. We were giving them fluids every day for the last year of their life. One cat needed the fluids several months earlier than the other one. I have been feeding them both prescription canned kidney food which they liked. I still have a lot of canned prescription kidney food to donate. Anyone on here need prescription canned kidney food, that lives in New Jersey? I know it’s a needle in a haystack, but I thought I’d try anyway. We were devastated, so it took us a while to get rid of the extra food and fluids we still have. Would love to donate to another fur baby. Thank you!!

Thank you for doing your best for your babies and for offering to donate to someone who needs it. If no one responds to you to take you up on your offer, you might call a couple shelters in your area and ask if they know of any orginizations that have programs for people who need a little extra help affording food/necessities for their cats. We have one here in my town where people can come in and pick up food/other supplies for their animals and I know they appreciate specialty items like kidney food, etc. Maybe someone else in the area can chime in if there is anything like that in the NJ area?
