Can polysporin or neosporin triple antibiotic ointment be used on eyes?

What is wrong with your cats eyes?  If it is an infection you can use terramycin ointment.  You can get it from your vet or in some areas order it on-line.

Just use the eye drop formula.  The other is good for wounds but it is not formulated for eyes any more than our standard triple antibiotic ointment is.

I think it is a safe bet to assume that anything that isn't specifically for eyes SHOULD NEVER be used in eyes. Yours or your cat.

I second that. NEVER EVER use anything for the eyes that is not specifically formulated to be used on the eyes. Further, for your cat, use a formula that's specific to a cat's eye.

Very true, I assumed that it might be too irritant to the eyes. Its just a shame that they sell triple antibiotic ointment OTC, but not the drops
