This lump appeared in my cats side and has been there for a while it doesn’t appear to be causing
pain. I am cautious to get the tweezers as I am not certain it is a tick, does anyone know or seen something similar before? Thanks

It looks like it could be a seed tick.
If it is an actual seed tick, you would typically find more than one. But, with any tick, you should see it grow in size as it goes through the various development stages while hosting on your cat's blood. If it is a tick, I would have thought you would have seen a size change over time.
If ticks are common in your area, maybe sending a pic to your vet would help to confirm that is what it is.
