I have two kittens, 5 months and 8 months. I’ve been noticing lately that the younger always has broken/short whiskers on one side. What’s going on here?

The other cat has full lovely whiskers. Is she nibbling his whiskers off? I tried to photograph it. He has almost no full size whiskers left on that side! (I think even few than a couple days ago when I took this.) but his other side is normal (just one bent whisker).

Thanks everyone!
It bothers me, but doesn’t seem to bother him. So I guess I won’t worry too much.
I don’t know if he other cat is eating them or it’s just rough play breaking them. I haven’t ever caught her chewing his whiskers, but she does groom him and they do wrestle hard!

Where do you think?
Some cats are a bit zealous when social grooming. Not much you can do about it really and if it hurts or they've had enough they will let each other know.

So regal. Thing 2 looks a bit goofy with his broken whiskers 🙄
