Hello everyone!

My 14 week old kitten has been home for about a week and I’ve been doing some research on kittens with her mix. Haven’t been able to find a lot of information so I thought I’d post pictures in case anyone was interested.

Her mother is a purebred british shorthair and her father is a purebred Devon Rex.

She is 100% adorable. I purchased her from a reputable Devon breeder and has a british shorthair and Burmese outcross program.

Arent we a little point too somewhat?

It seems to be the point of burma type.

If I met her on the street I would simply label her as a somewhat atypical but very sweet burma.
And asked for her phone number. :)

Ps I notice now there is a Burmese outcross program in the background.

Yea you got one. :)

Did you got papers and certificates?
Sometimes if the outcross was allowed the resulting kittens get their pedigree certificates (even if its really a fancy domestic certificate.)

I do have the papers but she is not Burmese. Her mom is british shorthair and father Devon Rex.

I don’t plan on showing or breeding her, but they are nice to have for her background.

I read. She isnt burmese even if she has the looks.

It just shows how difficult it may be to guess the background of mixes. :)

Its THE common question on this forum. Sometimes we can have a reasonable guess.

But most often its just guesswork and the cat a "pure domestic".

The only way to Know is suitable paperwork / certifikates and (or) a well known background.
As you have, both of these even.
