Check bums to see if anyone is wearing any evidence. Notice if anyone is frantically cleaning themselves after going to the box and check their bum and the box. If someone is a litter box rocket, check them out. If you notice someone in the box, check it when they're done. You'll narrow it down and come up with the culprit after a couple of days I bet.
