Whenever my cat is resting (not necessarily sleeping) she makes this breathing noise. It sounds like breathing through your nose with a little more power. She does this and then every few minutes takes a big breath and the noise stops for a minute before starting again. Was wondering if I should be worried? Sometimes her breathing has a little voice to it but it is very small.

Does your girl breathe fine while exercising? Is she a flat-faced breed like a persian?
One of my cats will sometimes snore a bit when snoozing, and it doesn't cause him any problems. So long as your girl doesn't have any other breathing issues, like a stuffed nose or she stops breathing then restarts suddenly, it should be OK.
