Banana Bread--with pictures.
What do you do with bananas too ripe to eat but not ripe enough to justify throwing them out yet? I, personally, make bread. Here's the recipe.
More tips: be careful who's with you when you make this. My family has a tendency to drool and loom over my shoulder when I cook it, so I try to make it in the middle of the night.
The bananas, ready to be mashed.
In the left bowl--the dry ingredients. In the right bowl--the wet ingredients. Bring them together to form--
--your dough. This is what it should look like. This makes a perfect loaf of banana bread.
This does not. (It does make excellent pancake and waffle batter though.) This is what happens if you stir too much, and, sadly, that's what I did. I won't post a pic of the bread (with this baking), but I will another time when I make it perfectly. (In case you're wondering--it makes a sweet, dense bread. Oh, it still tastes good, but it doesn't cook quite right.)
