Wow, what brought that on?
Its a learned behavior from his previous owners, they used to slap him around etc. so he learned to retaliate and stand his ground, until they got scared of him and even wouldnt let him in the house. From that point he had them bluffed and every now and then he thinks he can try it on with me or something triggers him..used to be weekly but this was the first time in 3 months he has got pushy. Usually able to turn it into a game and defuse it but he getting to understand when enough is enough and it isnt necessary to get firm with him.
Had to be a cat shrink with this one as well as go back to jungle basics.

Wow, and I thought Pantera was a handful. She has been an utter drama queen from the beginning, on top of having an unusually aggressive side to her personality: at three months she spent her time bullying three adult cats, and now never misses an opportunity to show Pimenta who the boss is. When we take Pantera out- to the vet for example- she is totally unafraid of dogs and other cats ( but being in unfamiliar territory is another matter) ; it is fascinating how Pantera can put a scare into dogs with only a glance
