Hi, just looking for some advice. Am Amber who is 10 years old had bright red blood in her stools, they were very loose this was on late Friday night. She was completely fine in herself eating drinking etc. yesterday she didn’t have a number 2, but again she was all ok. This morning she used the litter tray and her stools were very hard and a slight very dark red/brown in them. Again perfectly fine in herself. I attached a picture of her bottom. I am going to the vets first thing in the morning, I was just looking for some advice or if anyone else’s cat has had similar? Thanks Hayley

Is she eating wet or dry food? Could she be constipated? Glad you’re taking her to the vet. Keep us updated what it is

Where do you think?
Bright red would indicate the blood is possibly coming from the ainus or lower tract. If it was a big turd it may have torn her anus a bit comming out.
