Its been years since I owned one, but I just used one down in my basement and I'm puzzled. I dont remember two different colors. I have some spots that are glowing yellow and look like clear biologic residue of some kind (vomit for most) and I have other spots that are blue but not solid, like blue sparkles or something. Its the blue that is really puzzling me. I did a quick search online, but got a lot of junk results so I was hoping you all can help.

Thanks!

Not sure, but the color difference might relate to previously used cleaners. There are a lot of cleaners on the market that will 'show up' in black light inspections - making it hard to use them to detect just biological matter/residue. Just a guess on my part, though, in explaining the different coloring.

However, this article does seem to indicate some cleaners will highlight as 'blue'.
