Finally am able to post photos here. This is the neighborhood stray I (and others) feed. Gypsy wants to interact but I have no idea what shots, flea treatment, etc... Black Cat has had. Not sure if a he or a she but as shown by the clipped ear they are TNR'd. Eats and leaves, will hang around in the morning awaiting breakfast.

Ode to my family's first, best, and only kitten rescue.

She scared people because of her very fractious nature toward strangers at all life stages but she was a socialized and loving cat with family. I think we did the best we could by her but I am still angry at the extremely selfish shelter employee who took her beautiful mom and one kitten before they were put up for adoption but decided not to foster the rest of the litter until they were a more mature age, forcing 3 kittens to go to a new home alone at the young age of 7 weeks. She was an adorable cat and it is sad that most vet techs and visitors thought she was a monster until she passed away.

Black Katt was being bothered by gnats the other day and I remembered Jcatbird suggesting rubbing Gypsy with catnip to keep the bugs off. At first I put some on a paper plate and BK rubbed his/her face and rolled in it a bit but so much got wasted. Today I got one of Gypsy boxes to put it it in and BK got in and laid down. Looks about the same size as Gypsy
