This thread was so eye opening. I am new to cats, and thought my cat was simply crazy. Paco, le chat, was a rescue so I am not sure if he is 10months or a year, but he plays really rough. I have come to realize the face biting (chin and right between my eyes seem to be the favorites) is mostly in the morning when I sleep too long. After reading here, it seems like I am right, just an attention behavior. If I say "no" to him, he stops and seems to think about it though goes right back to it a couple of seconds lady. Is there any way I can try to stop it? I have puffed, meowed, cried, screamed, clapped... probably done everything.
