The good news is, her ears are wonderfully clean, so mites aren't an issue. The bad news is, that means it is something else as yet unknown. More good news, at this stage, it really does not look like ringworm. That could change, but it honestly doesn't look much like it to me right now. Now, fleas are notorious for hiding. It's one of their best things, second only to biting the peewads out of whatever warmblooded creature happens to be handy. You can pick up a flea comb for next to nothing at any pet store or a chain such as Walmart. That will allow you to comb for fleas, and you'll know for sure. However, this is a cat, and it is summer. If she hasn't been treated for fleas in the last 30 days, I'd go ahead and do it. It certainly won't hurt a thing, and may put this issue to rest.
