Best Food For Kitten With Weakened Immune System?

My boy has been eating royal canin since he came home. A mix of wet and dry kitten. He has a weak immune system and I was hoping to help him build it up. Is there something better he should be eating?

I like to feed a mix of wet, and supplement a little with dry. I use a lot of different wet foods, dry foods i normally stick with Dr. Elseys dry, Farmina, or taste of the wild prey for limited ingredient dry, thats what my moms cats like. I have used different Merrick dry foods with good results with some cats as well. And then there are the cats i have had that would eat nothing but Purina dry.

I try to feed as high protein, moderate fat, and low carb food as possible. It can also be a challenge to find one or two that you cats like. Sometimes they are picky and the best food is the one they will eat.
