Why do I find my cat laying in my bath room lol I’ve been finding her in there lately just laying there relaxing lol but if anyone is curious her litter box is also in there . I used to keep it in another room even in my room but . It became too much of a mess especially having to vacuum my room constantly cause of the litter . But last few weeks I’ll go and look for her and she’s in the bathroom just laying there lol so now I’m curious to why ? And no she does not lay in the litter box lol

also she’s almost two and she healthy for the most part

Has it been hot where you live? Could she be doing it to stay cool? Is she on a bathroom rug or on the tile floor? Are there any changes that have occurred in your house recently? What do you men by healthy for the most part?

She’s healthy she eats , uses the litter box and drinks and plays a lot . And it’s actually not hot where we live lol I usually keep the ac running . Since ifs usually hot outside . She can lay where she wants too I don’t care for the most part . But the bathroom to me is a strange place to lay down at lol

Our cat, Casper, goes into the bathtub to drink and play under the dripping faucet. He does it a couple of times a day, often in the middle of the night. I know he's been in the bathtub because, he jumps up on the bed to snuggle in the middle of the night, you reach out to pet him and you put your hand on a patch of wet fur with water dripping off the back of his head, running down his neck! He certainly knows how to wake up his humans!

Elliot, our younger cat, sometimes just lays in the bathtub and naps. This room is not where the litter box is located. He seems to do it more often when the weather is hotter, however. He probably does it because its cooler inside the bathtub.

If she's healthy for most part of it, it's just her behaviour and it's normal. Cats have strange habits and the habits change as they get older.
Sometimes it's the trickling of water or the sounds that draws them to the bathroom.

My boy use to sleep in the bathroom in his younger days and his sleeping places change as he got older. Now he sleeps in 6 -7 places in the house during the day except when it's bed time in the night, he'll sleep with me on the bed.
He too, always go to the bathroom now and just sit in there staring and doing nothing.

Cats are weird and this is normal and this is to tell you that you've got a cat!

The heck lmao wow didn’t know it was a cat thing lol I thought maybe she was lonely or something or sad lol she has a few odd habits but I just figured she’s being herself lol like she will mark the rim of her water bowl before drinking . She will mark the edges of her litter box after using it or sometimes she will just mark it without using it lol she’s even odd with toys lol I bought her a tiny tennis ball that has bells in it . She will not play with that

when god made cats why did he give them a user friendly book lol

Yea, it's a cat thing. In their minds, it's normal and wonder why the hooman is puzzled

I stopped buying toys for my boy long ago. He rather play with paper balls or plastic bags folded into a triangular shape and hit them all over the house and also he just love a foam ball that was with him since he was a kitten till now.

its just the spot with conditions she likes best that only makes sense to her. or theres a small chance your bathroom gets invaded by roaches coming in from drain pipes and she knows that like graycie does so she waits for the prey to come walking past her

My boy is coming to 9 year old year end. When he was much younger, he sleeps in the bathroom. I have 2 bathrooms and he sleeps in one of them only in the day. After several months, he changed place to the kitchen sink  and few months later, it's another place.

Usually if I'm using the bathroom, he'll just lay outside the bathroom and wait for me. Now he's asleep on top of a shelf
